The legislature is expected to include the "Freedom of Religion and Equality in Civil Marriage Act" on its legislative agenda in November.
Join us on Wednesday evening, November 4, as Garden State Equality presents Regional Ramp-Up meetings throughout New Jersey in support of the final push to pass marriage equality in the state Legislature. The Ramp-Up rally in Maplewood will begin at 7:00 PM at the Woman's Club of Maplewood on Woodland Rd (corner of Inwood Place)and will be co-sponsored by Rainbow Families of Maplewood/South Orange. This Ramp-Up will be an enthusiastic, rousing call to the legislature to follow through and pass marriage equality now! All are welcome who support equal rights, and especially equal civil marriage rights, for same sex couples and families in New Jersey! Supportive residents from Maplewood, South Orange, and anywhere else in New Jersey are especially encouraged to attend.
