| Community Coalition on Race Preschool Open House | | Date: | November 16th, 2009 | | Time: | 7:00pm | | Information: | South Orange/Maplewood Community Coalition on Race will sponsor its Eight Annual Preschool Open House on Monday, November 16th from 7PM to 8:30PM at the Columbia High School Cafeteria located at 17 Parker Ave., Maplewood NJ. First, a presentation on Kindergarten Readiness will be given from 7 to 7:30 PM by a school district representative, and then parents will be free to visit with close to 30 local pre-school and childcare agencies to research and select their preferences. The Coalition sponsors this FREE event as a community service for local residents and as an early measure to help close the minority academic acheivemnt gap. The event is FREE and open to the public. |
