I have so many fond memories of Maplewood, I thought it was just straight out of a movie. Coming from Australia our change of seasons are nowhere near as a drastic change. I remember running through the hundreds of leaves in Fall and making snow angels in the park in winter at midnight, Maplewood is such a beautiful town and I often think and remember those 6 months with a smile. I've lost contact with the family I nannyed for and wonder if anyone knows whether triplet boys, aged 6 still live on Maplewood Ave????? Linda Kennedy - June 16th, 2006 at 02:17am 4th of July When I was a child we would walk to the park to see the fireworks. We would stay at the park all day. You could hear those fireworks all over Maplewood. What great memories!! ROBERT DAKELMAN - February 8th, 2006 at 07:50pm Jefferson bridge Theres a real nice picture of the Jefferson bridge in the picture section of this site, for all those who have moved away. My friends and I used to play tackle football everyday after school at Jefferson. no coaches, no trophy's, just cause we loved to play. That changed as we got to Columbia. It caught my eye because we were born in the same town, grew up in the same town and both attended Columbia. We also lived in the same town at present, though I did not know him.
