I built a site for early NJ Transit track info at NY Penn

I’m local to the area and take NJ Transit, and I’ve been working on a site for commuters going through NY Penn.

It shows early track info from NJ Transit systems when available, along with track predictions before the official track is posted.

I also added a feature where if your train is canceled, you can select your station and see the next trains that will get you there.

I recently opened it up for public beta and figured this would be a good place to share it since there are so many NJ Transit commuters around here.

Still working on it and adding things, so I’d definitely appreciate any feedback from people who try it.

Pretty cool - any analytics on accuracy so far? This sounds like another app that was out a few years ago.

By how many minutes in advance are you able to get the track number? Looks like maybe 6-7 minutes?

I'm seeing some are like 30 minutes ahead. I think the advance ones were more during the day.

I should have been more succinct. I meant how many minutes on top of the normal ~10 minute notice we might get from NJ Transit. I was thinking maybe 15-17 minutes total, which would be great. If you are getting as much as 30 minutes, that's even better.
