MaplewoodOnline.com is back!

Jul 27, 2026 at 12:35am

You may have had to re-sign in again.  But we now have this working!  It's been a goal for some time now.  Let's see if it holds or please report any issues you are having.

I also have several more features that are nearly ready to launch—stay tuned!

Having difficulty uploading an image, Jamie

what’s the error message or is it just hanging?

Also is it on browser or desktop?

I’m seeing the issue on mobile - looking into it

The site didn't let me in on my existing password.  Ended up changing it.  Probably about time I refreshed it, anyway.

How many of you remember your password for this site???

ok, I need to tweak some more settings - it doesn't refresh to maplewoodonline.com at the moment.  So the old was should work - with uploads and everything.  Stay tuned!

I couldn't load an image either, Jamie.

I took a screen dump of the pop-up message, then realised ....

Working on a desktop.  The message read:  'File upload failed. The upload did not complete successfully.'

Yes - as I said in previous message - old URL works better - I'm tweaking some settings - stay tuned..

That part about logging in using the old URL didn't register, initially.  Have now logged in using it and posted the image.

I wrote mine down but still needed to refresh it.

First thing today (maybe 9:30 eastern?) needed to sign in.  My old password worked fine. Just now Firefox gave a warning message, but when i closed the tab and opened new tab for MOL, it's working fine with no further complaint from Firefox.

Jamie, thx! for all you do to make this easy for us out here!

I had the same message. Working on android

I was able to sign on but wondering if there is any difference or just a more desired domain name?  It would be great if it could include access to older threads going back to the beginning ... especially the blogs!

It seems like nobody’s posting?

I think it's just a mirror of maplewood.worldwebs but to check I'm posting this one from MOL to the other MOL.

It was just a lull in activity. It was just unusually quiet.

it's probably a summertime lull - I'm still working on getting the mol domain full functioning - there's a few steps that need to happen first - will try to fix in the wee hours of the night.

Files don't load.  Error: File upload failed: The upload did not complete successfully.

use maplewood.worldwebs.com - MOL is again forwarding to this.   Trying to fix is shortly

Tried to copy an image and could not get it to load here.  Image was from a post by Maplewood Township listing streets in which PSE&G was going to be replacing low pressure gas lines.

How did you copy the image?  It's usually best to download it locally - then upload it.

I am not a computer technology person at all.
What is the difference between maplewoodonline.com and maplewood.worldwebs.com?

visually nothing.  I'm just trying to restore the old domain name.  I have a few more hoops to overcome before it's fully working.  so stick with the ww version at the moment.  TIA

Not sure how to do that.  I use the click an drag method which usually works on other websites.

Hmm, not sure how that works - looks like if I try to drag a file it produces a link to it.

But - I just programmed the ability to  cut and paste an image from a screen grab.  So for instance on windows you can press (Win - Shift - S) - select what you want - come into the editor and click CTRL-V!  I didn't expect this to be an easy fix.

Just tried it, Jamie.  A brilliant change!

Having selected the image you want (Win +Shift +S), put your cursor into the Comments (text) section and click Ctrl +V

The image will load in the Attachments section.

okay - trying this again - let me know if you have any hiccups.  Set up should be optimal now - you only may need to log in again.

And if you forgot your password - just click on "Forgot password" https://maplewoodonline.com/login?r=https%3A%2F%2Fmaplewoodonline.com%2F

If you have it linked to an old email that you can't access - just drop my a message to update it:

When I got a new cell phone, despite multiple tries, I couldn't log onto to MOL.   long face  Whatever magic you've done, this time it worked!  wink
