I bet! I have fond memories of dawn-drinking with the breakfast crew at the Gate on SPD's long ago. My favorite wake up tonic? The deconstructed Irish whiskey. Which is just large shot of Tullamore with a cup of coffee. Grand way to start the day!

We’re celebrating ‘Ridski Weekend’ with a pleasantly warm, sunny day (not blistering hot) and a possible thunderstorm this arvo/evening.  The birds are going crazy, chirping, singing, building nests. We might visit the local pub, Dublin Docks, for lunch 👍😍

It’s EQUINOX WEEKEND!   Who’s gonna do stargazing?? Don’t forget your snacks, and stay warm!

Sunday 29 March:  World Piano Day! 

I guess it’s not warm enough for the street pianos.  Are there any in the malls?  Or find a café or diner and play for your fellow-diners!  I’m using the keyboards app on my iPad -  it’s been a very long time since I’ve played it and I wasn’t any good then! 😂🤪

Sadie Hawkins Day is on the 29th of February. It only comes around but once every four years!

I had an aunt whose birthday was Feb. 29.  In her 80s she insisted, with a big smile, that she was only 22.

The same thing I did on my night shifts: Carry on like any other workday. While the name of the day sounds like a command, I checked and it’s optional.
