Ongoing server updates

Hey guys - I'm doing a ton of tweaks in the background.  Nothing major has been updated to the main site yet.  Currently I'm working on our dev server which hasn't been functioning since our last server update a few years ago.

And if you're having issues with anything - please let me know.

okay - updated over 60 files.  Probably nothing too noticeable on the frontend - a lot of behind the scenes updates.  Please let me know if you encounter any issues.
