How about the massive failure to use signal lights when turning? An easy ticket but cops don't seem to be interested.

A British co-worker said to me that he expects the one thing that never breaks on American cars are the turn signals.
How about delivery trucks parked in crosswalks, rendering the crosswalk totally useless for those needing to cross the street?

And if you do use it, say on a highway, people ignore or abuse it. a Canadian once said to me that based on observation from driving on US highways, a turn indicator in the US actually means "please pass me on this side."
Don't forget when there are 3 or 4 cars illegally parked between Freeman's and the former Green Way (now Food Emporium?). They block the pedestrian walkway and make it extremely dangerous to cross Maplewood Ave.
Morristown just put in these “safety sticks” in their problem areas—assume people wouldn’t like the idea of cameras sending out automatic summonses but might it curtail the activity? https://abc7ny.com/post/safetysticks-being-used-nj-towns-enforce-parking-rules-taking-photos-illegally-parked-cars/17279687/

That crosswalk is the location of a story I've probably related here before (Edited to add: Search says I did, in 2018, in "Disregard for Parking Regulations"). A number of years ago I was crossing Maplewood Avenue, a few steps into the crosswalk right in front of the market, and a car traveling on the other (Ricalton Square) side of the street (1) cut in front of me while I was in the crosswalk, then (2) executed a "left turn into the diagonal parking spot" maneuver, and (3) parked in a "phantom spot" within the circled area in the picture in yahooyahoo's post.
A triple play. To top it all off, the driver got out and said to me, "Did you do that on purpose?" as if I was the one causing the trouble.

Apparently, it's legal for these towns to give a ticket based on photographic evidence because humans review the photos first and then decide whether to issue a ticket or not. The ticket is not issued automatically.

Couldn't the growth in AI capability impact the legitimacy of photographic evidence going forward?

It's probably just a matter of time before someone disputes their ticket based on the photos allegedly being altered.

Most violations take place around supper time, say 5:30 to 7:45. It is at this time of day that you will see the cars stopped in a lane on Maplewood Ave. while the driver or a passenger pops out to get takeout. But their hazard lights are flashing so it's ok.
Then there are the cars that are standing in the handicapped spots, no tag or handicapped license plate. But that's ok too, because they have their hazard lights flashing.
