My sons used it in the past when the rates were more competitive, aka cheaper, than most rental companies because they were under 25. Once they past that age it was mostly comparable to car rental company rates. The choices of vehicles is also a draw if you’re looking at a specialty vehicle. There could be a convenience of pick up/return depending on your location.
This looks like an unusual ‘company’. They seem to be a consolidator-separate folks who own an unused car offer it for rent thru Truror i’m guessing here- Truro provides an advertising platform, standardized rental, insurance forms etc.
@the_18th_letter made a good point about the variety of cars that Truro has available. A couple of years ago I wanted to rent, for 1 day only, a car that we were thinking of buying. There was 1 available but the owner wouldn’t rent for 1 day-she had a minimum 2 day policy; major rental comps. don’t do that.
