Details:

Hello!

We are Silver Hound Dog Walking, a professional, highly rated, local, family-owned company, serving Maplewood, South Orange, Millburn and parts of West Orange (closer to SO border).

The well-being of the pets in our care is our highest priority, and it shows with 250+ very happy, loyal clients since 2014.

We are looking for one or two more walkers at this moment who would like to join our growing team.

All of our visits happen between 10 am and 3 pm on weekdays.

WHAT YOU GET:

• - $17 an hour to start, moving up once you are fully trained
• - Tips on top of that
• - We pay for your drive time between visits, not only the time you are with the dog
• - Around 8 to 20 hours a week once you are trained
• - A real W-2 job, so taxes are withheld automatically
• - Liability insurance and Workers' Comp, so you are covered if something happens
• - An employer matched 401K after 3 months
• - Our Referral Program. You earn a bonus when you bring us a new client, and another when you bring us a walker who joins the team

- Fresh air, exercise and a lot of walking

YOU ARE NEVER OUT THERE ALONE:

Our walkers rotate, so you get to know most of our dogs and there is always someone to cover for you when you are sick or away. And the owners and your colleagues are always reachable. If a gate is locked, a dog is limping, or something just feels off, you send one message and we figure it out together.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

--> Honesty and the highest integrity
--> Experience with dogs
--> A car insured to yourself
--> Availability either Monday through Friday, 10 am to 3 pm, or Tuesday through Thursday, 10 am to 3 pm
--> Willingness to be out in the rain and the snow, because the dogs are waiting

Interest in cat sitting is a lovely bonus, but not required.

HOW TO APPLY:

--> Learn more about our team and apply here: https://www.silverhounddogwalking.com/employment/
--> Or just message me with a few lines about yourself: m.me/silverhounddogwalking/

Thank you very much!
